The signing of Neto was met with a lot of excitement given he’s a proven quantity in the Premier League and has shown he can perform to a high level.

The Portugal international has caused Chelsea headaches in the past and the Blues will certainly be glad to have Neto in their ranks rather than coming up against him.

It’s been a slow start to life for Neto at Stamford Bridge, although there are signs he’s now starting to find his feet and his performances are improving.

Neto has started just two of Chelsea’s seven Premier League games, and was substituted at half time in one of those against Bournemouth.

The winger, who is currently on international duty has admitted it’s been a bit of a difficult start to the season, but feels like he’s now starting to get back to his best.

“I feel like I’m getting back to my normal self,” he told reporters as cited on X.com.

“I had a bit of a difficult start to the season, recovering from my injury and also being in the European Championship. But I’m very happy with the way I’m working and I’m reaching my best, without a doubt.”
