Parma eyeing Van Bommel, De Rossi for managerial post | OneFootball

Parma are evaluating several options for their vacant managerial post, including former Roma boss Daniele De Rossi.

According to Sky Sport, the former midfielder is among the list of candidates being considered by the Emilian side following Cristian Chivu’s departure for Inter.

Though, De Rossi is currently the second choice behind former PSV, Wolfsburg, and Antwerp manager Mark van Bommel.

The Dutchman, who was recently pursued by Pisa, previously garnered strong interest from Parma in January prior to their appointment of Chivu.

It remains to be seen if the two sides can reach an agreement. If not, there’s a strong chance that De Rossi is back on the bench next season in Serie A.
