Paris FC closing in on deal for Reims full-back Nhoa Sangui | OneFootball

Paris FC are in advanced talks with Stade de Reims to sign 19-year-old left-back Nhoa Sangui, according to L’Équipe.

The Ligue 2 side are targeting two full-backs this summer and have made Sangui a priority. Born in Creil (Val-d’Oise), the defender came through the ranks at Reims after joining the club at 15, and signed his first professional contract in July 2023.

The French youth international enjoyed a breakout campaign last season, featuring 26 times in Ligue 1 for Reims. A quick and technically sound left-sided defender, Sangui is valued for his versatility and has represented France from U16 to U20 level.

Under contract until 2027, Sangui’s potential has attracted several admirers, but Paris FC appear to be leading the race. An agreement between the clubs is reportedly close.Les Parisiens are looking for reinforcements ahead of their return to Ligue 1 for the first time in 46 years, with their current priority a move for Real Sociedad defender Hamari Traoré (33). GFFN | George Boxall
