Paris FC and OGC Nice compete for Leipzig’s Amadou Haidara | OneFootball

According to a report from Foot Mercato, OGC Nice are set to rival Paris FC in the pursuit of RB Leipzig midfielder Amadou Haidara (27).

The Mali international has been Paris’s priority target as they look to strengthen their midfield ahead of their first campaign back in the top flight following a 46-year absence. The club have been looking for an experienced presence in their midfield. Paris originally had looked at Lille OSC’s captain Benjamin André (35). However, he eventually turned the club down after agreeing to a contract extension with Les Dogues.

Despite Paris and Leipzig being linked by Red Bull, with the company having a share of control in each club’s ownership (as minority owners in the case of the Ligue 1 side), Haidara could end up at Nice. Franck Haise’s side are looking to add the midfielder to their squad, especially following Morgan Sanson’s injury.
