Leandro Paredes appears to have changed his plans following the appointment of Claudio Ranieri as Roma’s head coach.
The Argentine midfielder is no longer pursuing an early exit from the club in January.
With his contract up in June, Paredes seemed tempted to move away already in January, joining his former club, Boca Juniors.
However, Corriere dello Sport reports that the player’s rapport with Ranieri is a positive one and that the manager has already told him he plans on relying on him this season.
Thus, it is likely that Paredes will only leave Roma as a free agent in June, concluding his second spell with the Giallorossi after two years.
