The future of Victor Osimhen remains one of the hottest topics in the 2025 summer transfer window with multiple clubs vying for his signature.

The 26 year old Nigerian striker who spent the 2024 - 25 season on loan at Galatasaray, is officially tied to Napoli until Jun 2026. But his destination for the upcoming season remains up in the air.

Back to Napoli ... for Now?

According to Calciomercato, citing La Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli’s new coach Antonio Conte plans to include Osimhen in the club’s pre season camp in Dimaro Folgarida, starting 17 Jul.

Before that, the Super Eagles star's expected to report to Castel Volturno for routine medical tests indicating that for now, he's still part of Napoli’s immediate plans.

Transfer Tension Rising

Napoli're hoping to finalize sale before 15 Jul, the expiry date of 75 million eurp release clause valid only for clubs outside Italy.

That deadline is key for Al Hilal, managed by Simone Inzaghi who remain the most aggressive suitor reportedly offering massive financial package to lure Osimhen to the Saudi Pro League.

At the same time Galatasaray are also keen on bringing him back after his impressive loan spell. Meanwhile Juventus could enter the race if Dusan Vlahovic departs especially if the release clause expires and Osimhen’s fee drops.

As the 15 Jul release clause looms, all eyes are on Osimhen who appears willing to wait out the clause before making final decision on his next move.

Whether it's Italy, Turkey, or Saudi Arabia, the Nigerian forward's at the center of transfer saga that’s only just heating up.
