FC Barcelona have already played their last league match of the 2024-25 season, which allowed them to finish the La Liga race with 88 points, four points ahead of the second-placed Real Madrid.
However, even with all the fixtures played, there can still be a change in this final points tally for the Catalan team.

This is the case as Mundo Deportivo reports that Osasuna have already filed an appeal with the Spanish Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) regarding the alleged improper fielding of the defender Inigo Martinez during the La Liga matchday 27 encounter between these two sides.
Both the Disciplinary Committee and the Appeals Committee have already rejected the claims of the Pamplona club. However, Osasuna are now trying to make the last possible move to get some compensation for what they believe was an improper fielding of a player. Today was the deadline to file this appeal.
Los Rojillos had invoked Article 5 of FIFA Rules to claim this improper fielding, which sets out a period of 5 days for a player to return to play matches with his club side after an injury has prevented him from playing for his national side.
Osasuna claim that only 4 days had passed after which Martinez was not only named in the squad for the league game, but he also started this match. However, RFEF has already confirmed that the defender had been released after he joined the national team due to physical discomfort.
Mainly owing to this position of the RFEF, the Disciplinary Committee and the Appeals Committee previously rejected the application made by the Pamplona club. However, Los Rojillos are now approaching a higher level of court.
Their keenness in this matter is understandable, as a compensation of three points will allow them to qualify for a European position, after they ended the last season placed 9th on the league table. These three points will bring them to the 8th position, allowing them to participate in the UEFA Conference League.
On the other hand, even a ruling against them will not affect the league position of Barcelona, who have a four-point gap over Real Madrid.
