Wilfried Singo leaves AS Monaco for Galatasaray on August 28, 2025. The Ivorian international defender has officially signed a five-year contract with the current leaders of the Turkish league. He will earn an annual salary estimated at €4.8 million.

Galatasaray and AS Monaco have finally ironed out the last details of this deal, which had been in the works since last week. The Turkish club's management convinced the Ivorian right-back to move to Istanbul and continue his European adventure. The Ivory Coast defender had attracted interest from several European clubs this summer, notably Borussia Dortmund, who were also monitoring his situation. Ultimately, it was Galatasaray who secured his signature, thanks to an attractive financial package and an ambitious sporting project.

"Wilfried Singo has a 5-year contract, valid from the 2025-2026 football season. Under the terms of the agreement, the player will receive a guaranteed net salary of €4,800,000.00 for each season. A net transfer fee of €30,769,230.77 will be paid to the player's former club. In addition, 10% of the profit from the next sale of the footballer will be paid to AS Monaco Football Club," Galatasaray announced in a public statement.

Singo joined Monaco in August 2023 from Torino for a fee of €10 million. Over his two seasons with the red and white, the Ivorian international played 60 matches in all competitions. He scored 4 goals and provided 4 assists, helping Monaco to secure back-to-back podium finishes in Ligue 1.
