The Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) released an official statement this Monday, announcing the start date for the 2025-2026 professional Ligue 1 season. The competition will officially get underway on August 9 and 10, 2025, following decisions made by the competitions committee.This season opener comes after a play-off match scheduled for July 27 between Union Sportive Monastirienne and Stade Tunisien. The winner of this clash will go on to face Espérance Sportive de Tunis in the Tunisian Super Cup final, set for August 3, 2025.As for Ligue 2, the Federation has scheduled the championship restart for September 20 and 21, 2025.
