With the culmination of the summer transfer window a couple of weeks ago, La Liga has officially announced the salary cap for the teams in the first and second divisions of Spanish football.

And, once again, Real Madrid have the highest salary cap, set at €754.8 million, increasing from €727 million which was set during the last review in February earlier this year.

The salary limit is the maximum amount that the club can spend during the season after the operations carried out in the summer.

It includes the expenditure on players, the manager, and the coaching staff, along with the expenses on the reserve team, the youth academy, and the other sporting areas.

Real Madrid made a huge signing this summer with Kylian Mbappe finally arriving at the Santiago Bernabeu, on a free transfer.

Endrick also arrived from Palmeiras, 18 months after a deal was agreed for his signing.

Meanwhile, Los Blancos bid goodbye to players like Joselu, Nacho Fernandez, and Toni Kroos, who announced his retirement, while a number of talented youngsters like Rafa Marin, Nico Paz, Mario Martin (loan) also moved on.
