Official Newcastle United injury update – Availability for the Spurs match:
Jamaal Lascelles – Long-term injured and still unavailable.
Emil Krafth – Still on the recovery route from his shoulder injury.
Callum Wilson – His latest hamstring injury seeing the striker out for a couple of months.
Fabian Schar – Suspended for both this Spurs match and the game at Arsenal on Tuesday night.
Nick Pope – Eddie Howe says that the keeper is back out on the grass and his knee ‘is in a good place.’

“I always said Sven will be in and around the Christmas games, he has worked incredibly hard to get himself into a good condition, he has had three games, he is in and around my thoughts.
“I will have to make a decision on who best fits that position, but it is great to have Sven back around.
