It had been talked about last week, and on Monday, it became official. Rémy Labeau Lascary (22) will spend this season on loan at Angers SCO.
The French attacker missed a good portion of the 2024-25 season after rupturing his cruciate ligaments in December. Before his injury, he had made 14 Ligue 1 appearances with Les Sang et Or, scoring two goals, while also contributing one assist.
Before returning to Lens ahead of last season, the man born in Guadeloupe had spent the 2023-24 campaign on loan at Stade Lavallois, making 34 appearances for them in Ligue 2 and scoring four times.
Labeau Lascary’s contract with Lens expires on June 30, 2026. After two matchdays, Angers have one win and one defeat this season, narrowly losing 1-0 at Paris Saint-Germain on Friday.
Currently, they are 11th in the table and will welcome Rennes to Stade Raymond Kopa for their final match of August on Sunday.
