Official: Kvaratskhelia transfer from Napoli to PSG is complete | OneFootball

Napoli have officially completed the sale of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to Paris Saint-Germain for a reported fee of over €70m.

The Georgia international passed his medical and put pen to paper on the four and a half year contract to June 2029, which is said to be worth €9m per season plus performance-related bonuses.

It is a huge step up in salary for the player, who had still been on the same €1.5m wages as when first joining Napoli as a relative unknown from Dinamo Batumi in July 2022.

Kvaratskhelia went on to win the Scudetto, scoring 30 goals in 107 competitive appearances for the club, along with 29 assists.

“It’s a dream to be here. I’ve heard a lot of very positive things about Paris Saint-Germain. I feel immense pride in joining this great club and I’m really looking forward to wearing my new colours”, said Kvaratskhelia on the PSG website.

He posted a lengthy video message last night on his social media channels confirming the transfer and saying goodbye to the Napoli supporters.

Considering he was purchased for just €13.3m, this sale makes it the biggest profit margin in the history of the club.

Including amortisation figures and the amount saved on his salary, the profit made on his transfer is circa €69.5m.

The fee is believed to be €70m plus bonuses.
