With not much time left before the first El Clasico of the Hansi Flick era kicks off, the Barcelona manager has announced the starting lineup that will take the field against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Coming into the game, there was only one major question mark about the starting XI – with Flick having to choose between Fermin Lopez and Dani Olmo for the No. 10 role.

And the Barça boss has decided to stick with the former, continuing the same XI that started vs Bayern Munich.

The rest of the Barcelona starting lineup is kept the same as Inaki Pena continues in goal ahead of emergency new signing Wojciech Szczesny.

Meanwhile, Jules Kounde, Pau Cubarsi, Inigo Martinez, and Alejandro Balde form the defensive line for the Catalans and will be in for a stern test against Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr.

Pedri and Marc Casado, both in top form, are retained in the midfield double pivot, with Frenkie de Jong once again left on the bench.

The in-form trio of Lamine Yamal, Robert Lewandowski, and Raphinha form the frontline for Barcelona as they take on Real Madrid in the first Clasico of the 2024/25 season.
