Barcelona will be gunning for their seventh La Liga win of the 2024/25 season as they take on Getafe at Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys in an hour.
Having registered six wins in six so far in the league, the Catalans will be eager to extend their 100% record and re-establish their four-point lead over Real Madrid at the top of the table.
Ahead of the game, manager Hansi Flick has announced the Barcelona starting lineup for the game against Getafe in Montjuic.
With Marc-Andre ter Stegen out with an injury, Inaki Pena gets his first start of the season between the sticks even as the club work to sign Wojciech Szczesny.
Meanwhile, with no Ter Stegen, Ronald Araujo, and Frenkie de Jong, Raphinha captains the Barcelona team tonight and starts on the left flank in attack. He partners Lamine Yamal and Robert Lewandowski in the frontline.
In a big decision, Flick has opted to rest midfield maestro Pedri tonight, with Marc Casado replacing him in the team. The 21-year-old La Masia ace partners with Eric Garcia in the double pivot, with Pablo Torre occupying the No. 10 slot.
There are a couple of alterations in defence, too, with Pau Cubarsi and Alejandro Balde returning to the team at the expense of Sergi Dominguez and Gerard Martin, respectively. Inigo Martinez and Jules Kounde retain their places.
