FC Barcelona have revealed their squad for tonight’s crucial UEFA Champions League match against Ligue 1 side Brest.
The team will be looking to secure a vital win in their campaign, but they will face some challenges with injuries affecting key players.
Lamine Yamal, who has been in impressive form this season, will unfortunately miss the match due to injury.
His absence will undoubtedly be felt by Barcelona, as he has been a crucial part of their attack.
On a more positive note, Alejandro Balde has made the squad list despite initial concerns about his fitness. His inclusion gives the team a boost, as he provides pace and an attacking threat on the left side.
Barcelona also welcome the return of defender Eric Garcia. Although it is unlikely that Garcia will start the match, his presence in the squad adds much-needed depth to the defensive options available to manager Hansi Flick.
His experience and versatility in defence can prove to be invaluable as the match progresses. Furthermore, it must be noted that although Ferran Torres is almost at full fitness, he has missed out on the squad.
Meanwhile, the two reserve team players who travelled to Celta Vigo are out due to technical decisions, namely, Alvaro Cortes and Noah Darvich.
The squad selected by Barcelona to face Brest includes the following players:
Pau Cubarsi, Alejandro Balde, Inigo Martinez, Gavi, Pedri, Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, Inaki Pena, Pablo Torre, Fermin Lopez, Marc Casado, Pau Victor, Dani Olmo, Frenkie de Jong, Jules Kounde, Eric Garcia, Wojciech Szczesny, Diego Kochen, Hector Fort, Gerard Martin, Sergi Dominguez, Andres Cuenca, and Guillermo Fernandez.
