It remains certain that there will be some major changes at FC Barcelona this summer. After all, the Catalan giants are looking to revamp the squad and that requires certain sacrifices. However, not all the changes at Barcelona will take place within the first team.
For instance, the recent signing of Swedish talent Roony Bardghji is a curious case. Instead of signing directly for the first team, he joins as a member of Barcelona Atletic yet he is expected to remain in the dynamics of the first team for now.
Similarly, Barcelona have been working on several such deals in recent weeks and those have involved first team players as well. For example, the recent departures of both Ansu Fati and Pablo Torre have worked out quite well for the club from a financial perspective.
However, while those deals made sense, some operations simply do not possess that same kind of understanding or consensus. One such operation is that of talented defender Eman Kospo, who has now officially left the club.

As confirmed officially by FC Barcelona, the club has reached an agreement with Italian side Fiorentina for the departure of the 18-year-old Swiss defender. They have also attached a message of good luck for the player:
“FC Barcelona and ACF Fiorentina have reached an agreement for the transfer of Eman Kospo. The club reserves a percentage of any future sale of the Swiss center back. The Club wishes him much luck and success in the future, both personally and professionally.”
However, despite there being a sell-on clause attached, the revenue generated from the deal is not all that significant. Reportedly, Barcelona will earn close to €500,000 from his transfer and they simultaneously included a sell-on clause in the deal.
Still, there is no mention of a buy-back clause being included in the deal, which is a rather strange decision considering the player’s talents. Thus, it means for better or for worse, the Swiss defender will most likely not be joining the Catalan side again in the years to come.
On the other end, Italian side Fiorentina has also confirmed the player’s arrival as a new signing. Thus, that marks the end of his stay at Barcelona as he looks to start a new journey. Unfortunately, he was undeniably a talented player that the club has now lost for not exactly a lot of money.
