Since Liverpool secured their 20th league title against Tottenham, all the talk has been about who the Reds will bring in to further strengthen in the summer.
Plenty of very exciting names have been linked, with Arne Slot and Richard Hughes looking to reinforce a number of positions.
As well as incomings, there are guaranteed to be a number of outgoings at Anfield, with both first team regulars and squad players set to make way in a summer overhaul.
Liverpool have become known for their excellent ability to sell players for high fees no matter their involvement in the first team, and they will be looking to carry on that trend in this transfer window too.
A number of current stars are preparing for their final few months in Merseyside as the Reds try to get the best deal possible for their outgoing talent.
According to recent reports, Nottingham Forest are emerging as potential suitors for two of Slot’s squad and a double deal could soon be struck.
A new report from TEAMtalk has revealed that Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have entered the race for Jarell Quansah, stating that roughly £30 million could be enough to secure the English defender this summer.
Football Insider are also reporting that Forest have identified Harvey Elliott as a potential replacement for Morgan Gibbs-White, who has been heavily linked with a move to a number of top sides – including Liverpool.
The report also states that the Reds will demand between £40-50 million for Elliott, who has only played 720 minutes this campaign.
If Quansah and Elliott do end up at The City Ground, the £70 million that Liverpool will receive would go a long way towards funding their other summer business.
Diogo Jota, Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez and Kostas Tsimikas could all also leave, and the transfer windfall from all those departures plus Liverpool’s healthy financial position could enable some serious spending at Anfield.
Some reports have even claimed that it would take substantially more than the £30m TEAMtalk are reporting to sign Quansah this summer.
The double deal with Forest could be exactly what Hughes and co are looking for in the transfer market, and would emulate last summer’s deals with Brentford that saw Sepp van den Berg and Fabio Carvalho move to the G-Tech Community Stadium.
Murillo, and sending Quansah and Elliott to Nottingham could help secure a deal for Liverpool.
