Nottingham Forest sign Republic of Ireland international defender Mustaki | OneFootball

Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of Republic of Ireland international defender Chloe Mustaki on a free transfer.

The Tricky Trees announced the news via a post on their official club website this morning.

The 29-year-old defender joins Nottingham Forest after leaving former club Bristol City earlier this summer. Mustaki has signed an initial two-year deal at The City Ground.

Mustaki has spent the last three years as a professional player. She signed her first professional deal upon joining Bristol City in summer 2022. Mustaki was a member of the Bristol City side that won the Barclays WSL2 title in 2022/2023.

Prior to her spell in the South West, Mustaki also turned out for Charlton Athletic in English football’s second tier.

After joining Nottingham Forest, Mustaki said “I’m really excited to be here. There’s huge ambitions at the Club and I’m looking forward to being part of that.

“I like to think I have a lot of experience that I can bring to Nottingham Forest this season both on and off the pitch, so I’m excited to get started.”

Mustaki is Nottingham Forest’s second signing of the summer transfer window. The player joins former Bristol City teammate Amy Rodgers at the East Midlands club.
