Quansah may only have 398 Premier League minutes under his belt, but there’s maturity in his game that suggests untapped potential. If he leaves now, we could end up watching him flourish elsewhere—just like we did with Conor Coady or even more painfully, Raheem Sterling at City.

That said, if Arne Slot sees Dean Huijsen as a more rounded fit for his system, then a sale makes business sense. A £29.7m fee for a fringe player? Not bad. But supporters won’t accept this without clarity. We need to know there’s a concrete plan—and not just another talent sold before hitting their stride.
