When you're about to tap into an empty net, you don't expect a teammate to be the one to somehow block the shot.

But that's exactly what happened to Cole Palmer when an almost certain goal was denied by Noni Madueke.

Some might say that there was nothing Madueke could do, and in all fairness he did try and get out of the way, but it does seem odd that he made his run so close to Palmer's in the first place.

With the lead only at 1-0, Chelsea really could've done with that crucial second.

Madueke might well owe Palmer a drink, or even two if Leicester did find an equaliser.
