Pablo Torre has disappeared from the picture at FC Barcelona in 2025. The young midfielder has now gone seven consecutive matches without playing a single minute.

The Spanish starlet’s last appearance came on 26 January in La Liga against Valencia (7-1), where he came on in the second half and played just 12 minutes.

Pablo Torre could consider summer transfer

Given the situation, AS reports that Torre could consider a summer exit from Barcelona having been ‘ignored’ by manager Hansi Flick in recent weeks.

Since his last appearance vs Valencia, Torre has been confined to the bench for matches against Atalanta, Alaves, Valencia (cup), Sevilla, Rayo Vallecano, and Las Palmas.

The former Racing Santander prodigy’s situation worsened further in the Copa del Rey clash against Atletico Madrid, where he was not even included in the squad.

Due to the competition’s 22-player squad limit, someone had to be left out alongside Ansu Fati – Flick’s most consistently overlooked player – and it was clear that Torre was next in line.

Torre’s last start dates back to January 3rd, in Barcelona’s Copa del Rey tie against Barbastro (0-4), when he played 81 minutes, scored a goal, and provided two assists.

However, since then, the midfielder’s game time has been reduced to two brief appearances: 13 minutes in the Copa del Rey Round of 16 vs. Real Betis (5-1) and the aforementioned cameo vs. Valencia in La Liga.

Torre’s trajectory under Flick has been one of steady decline. He began the season strongly, delivering impressive performances, scoring goals, and playing a key role even if not always as a starter.

However, intense competition in midfield has severely limited his playing time and, more concerningly, his confidence. At this point, he is the least-used player in the squad, apart from Ansu Fati. This situation could force him to seriously consider his future this summer.
