England international Nikita Parris has made the move to newly promoted London City Lionesses on a free transfer from Brighton.
The 31-year-old forward, who was part of the Lionesses squad that won the Euros in 2022, has penned a two-year deal with the club.
Parris heads to London after an impressive season with Brighton & Hove Albion, where she netted seven goals in 22 league games, playing a key role in helping the club to their highest-ever finish in the top flight.
Throughout her career, she’s played for a number of top sides – including Everton, Manchester City, Lyon, Arsenal, Manchester United, and most recently Brighton and has picked up some serious silverware along the way, both at home and on the European stage, including the UEFA Women’s Champions League and Euro 2022.
The Lionesses will kick off their Women’s Super League season with a home clash against Arsenal on 6 September.
