Nicola Zalewski has decided to decline Marseille as his next destination.
The Roma winger had been in talks with the French club as a potential option prior to the expiry of his contract in the summer.
Roma were eagerly pushing him toward Marseille, having found an agreement earlier in the week.
But ultimately the player rejected the French club’s proposal, writes Matteo Moretto of Relevo.
Zalewski’s preference would be to join Inter: the Pole would be happy to move to Simone Inzaghi’s side.
However, Roma would have to accept to renew his contract in order to send him out on loan with option to buy at the end of the season worth around 6-7 million. Talks ongoing.
