Newcastle United have confirmed what Liverpool need to do in order to sign Alexander Isak and it's simple.
This transfer saga has been going on for months now. Liverpool have endlessly pursued a move for Isak because they believe he can become the best striker in the world.

Newcastle have resisted those attempts and have also stood firm as the Swede has agitated for a move with his actions, missing pre-season matches, tours and then making it clear he doesn't want to play for the club again.
Tensions reached a boiling point on Tuesday night with Isak's explosive Instagram story. In it, Isak makes it clear that he wants to move and that this would be in the best interest of everyone involved.
Isak's statement was something Newcastle had not expected. They were expected to make a firm statement in response but what transpired was a relatively lukewarm declaration that did not specifically state that the Swede was absolutely not for sale.
In the statement released on the club's official website, Newcastle said the following:
"We want to keep our best players, but we also understand players have their own wishes and we listen to their views. As explained to Alex and his representatives, we must always take into consideration the best interests of Newcastle United, the team and our supporters in all decisions and we have been clear that the conditions of a sale this summer have not transpired."
They added that they do not foresee those conditions being met. What those conditions are they did not specify but it's easy to assume that the conditions they mean is the amount of money being offered for Isak.
Liverpool made a bit of £110m for the Swede earlier on in the window which was swiftly rejected by the Magpies.
It's understood they are holding out for £150m. These are the conditions of the sale they confirmed have to be met in their statement in order to agree the sale of Isak.
Now that's a lot of money to pay. It's an incredible amount. It would make Isak by far and away the most expensive player in British football.
However, Liverpool have been wanting to sign him ever since he broke onto the scene in Sweden at AIK. The club's scouts know him as well as anyone.
And the recruitment team were willing to break the bank for him already this summer. They went low with their first bid with £110m, hoping to probably meet in the middle and agree a deal at £130m.
This is looking a little unlikely at this moment in time given Newcastle's firm stance. However, in their statement they've made it clear what they want in order for Isak to go.
Liverpool now have a simple option to end this saga once and for all. Pay the £150m fee. That's all they have to do, and they will get their man and Isak will get his move.
