New Barcelona signing will be in attendance for Young Boys clash | OneFootball

The latest arrival in Hansi Flick’s Barcelona squad is set to be in attendance at the club’s next outing, on Tuesday night.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Wojciech Szczęsny as the player in question.

Shot-stopper Szczęsny, of course, is set to be unveiled as the latest addition to Barcelona’s first-team ranks day now.

Brought in to act as cover following the long-term injury suffered by Marc-André ter Stegen, the Pole underwent his medical tests in Catalunya’s capital on Monday, ahead of putting pen to paper on a contract with the Blaugrana through the close of the campaign.

And, as alluded to above, later tonight, the Barca faithful could well be afforded their first glimpse of Szczęsny at the club’s ground.

As per a report from Diario Sport:

‘The goalkeeper will be in the Montjuïc stands tonight to watch FC Barcelona-Young Boys in Matchday 2 of the Champions League. It will be his first time at the Blaugrana ground.’
