Denzel Dumfries and Piotr ZIelinski will be fully fit for Inter Milan against Roma.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They also report, however, that Marcus Thuram will still be absent.
Inter Milan have been without a few key players in recent matches.
Striker Marcus Thuram has missed the last two matches after suffering some muscular fatigue in last week’s Champions League showdown with Bayern Munich.
Meanwhile, wingback Denzel Dumfries and midfielder Piotr Zielinski have been out with longer. They’ve been absent for more than a month with strains to their thigh and calf respectively.
And Inter have really missed these players. Particularly across the last couple matches.
Inter lost to Bologna in Serie A and AC Milan in the Coppa Italia in their two most recent matches.
These fixtures really put the squad depth to the test.
The likes of Mehdi Taremi and Joaquin Correa have not convinced in place of Thuram. Meanwhile, veterans Matteo Darmian and Henrikh Mkhitaryan have had to put in overtime.

According to the Gazzetta, however, Denzel Dumfries and Piotr Zielinski are both fully ready to return.
Neither of the two will start against Roma tomorrow. However, both will be in the squad and ready to come off the bench.
For Dumfries, the aim will be to have the Dutchman come off the bench and get some minutes in his legs.
Then, Inter hope, Dumfries will be ready to start against Barcelona in the Champions League in midweek.
Then, for Zielinski, Inter will similarly hope that the 30-year-old is able to get up to speed so that he can also play a role in Inter’s Champions League semifinal second leg.
It’s a different story for striker Marcus Thuram, however.
The Gazzetta confirm that the Frenchman is still not ready to return to action tomorrow.
