Serie A side Napoli are expected to permanently buy loan player Philip Billing from Premier League outfits Bournemouth.

Valter De Maggio of Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli has announced (via Calcio Napoli 24) that the Neapolitans have decided to activate the right-to-purchase option for Philip Billing, who arrived on loan from Bournemouth last summer.

Napoli will be liable to pay a transfer fee of around €9 million as per the agreement for the Danish midfielder. The deal is set to be closed down within a few weeks following the season’s end.

Billing has featured in only three Serie A matches this campaign but he has impressed manager Antonio Conte and the Napoli hierarchy. The 28-year-old became a fan favourite after scoring a late equaliser against Inter recently and is now expected to stay for a significant amount of time at the club.

Apart from signing Billing, Napoli are working on landing potential targets but they will focus on the market after this season.
