Mykhailo Mudryk makes impressive Chelsea debut | OneFootball

It was the perfect time for Myhailo Mudryk to make his debut today.

We knew he wasn’t going to start, so we had to wait until the second half, but the stage was set.

Chelsea had played well but by that stage of the game they were by then penned back in their half without an outlet up top.

Mudryk came on to play on the left wing and brought that outlet. His speed and dribbling gave Liverpool a lot to think about, and he so almost got a debut goal as he jinked through defenders on a mazy run only to clip the ball into the side netting.

There were things to improve too, of course. His brilliant run should really have led to a goal, and later in the game he was pushed off the ball far too easily by Liverpool defenders.

But for a first impression, that was a really good one. He looks ready to bring exactly what was promised to this team.
