Jose Mourinho was once again victorious in his match-up with Feyenoord.

The former Roma manager and current Fenerbahce boss led the Turkish side in an impressive comeback over his favorite victim – the Dutch team he repeatedly faced over the last three years, since the Conference League final in Tirana in 2022.

After Fenerbahce’s 5-2 win on aggregate, Mourinho commented his heated rivalry with the Dutch side, “It’s just a coincidence. I never win in Rotterdam; I only won in ’97 with Barcelona in the Cup Winners’ Cup final against PSG.”

“I’ve never won there with United, nor with Roma, nor with Fenerbahce. But then in the second leg I always managed to win and advance; I even won the Conference final against them. But I think it’s just a coincidence.”
