Monaco target move for Vasco de Gama’s Rayan | OneFootball

Whilst AS Monaco have signed some experienced heads this summer, with both Paul Pogba and Eric Dier coming through the door, the club are also continuing their strategy of signing high-potential prospects.

Whilst Ansu Fati is now 22 years old, he is still that, to an extent. The Spaniard has joined on loan from Barcelona. However, Monaco are also targeting a young Brazilian who has just burst onto the scene. As per a report from L’Équipe, the Principality club are interested in Vasco de Gama’s Rayan (18).

Monaco, despite Fati’s arrival, are looking to recruit a player capable of playing across the forward line. That is due to the impending departure of Saïmon Bouabré, whilst one of Eliesse Ben Seghir or Maghnes Akliouche could also leave before the closure of the window.

Rayan is under contract at Vasco de Gama until December 2026, however, Monaco are attempting to bring him to the club this summer. The Brazil U20 international is left-footed and plays largely off the right, although he can also play more centrally.
