Mohamed Salah is the in-form player in Europe right now, but the start to his Liverpool career was arguably even better, and even saw him scoop up the 2018 FIFA Puskás Award for a goal exactly seven years ago today.
The Egyptian joined the Reds in the summer of 2017 from Roma, returning to the Premier League after a failed spell at Chelsea, and no one could have predicted what was about to begin.
Salah scored on his debut, and never stopped, hitting 44 in total in his debut campaign at Anfield, and picking up several individual honours.
Perhaps his best strike was this effort in the Merseyside Derby, a goal which has all the aspects of his game we have become so used to.
While the controversy around the fan selection of this goal over Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo's bicycle kicks led to the voting being changed, it remains a brilliant goal, and showed just how Liverpool supporters had taken to their new superstar.
