Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has claimed that he has not received a contract offer from the club and is now likely to depart next summer.
His current deal is set to expire at the end of the season and the forward has admitted that as things stand, an Anfield exit appears to be on the cards.
"We're almost in December and I haven't received any offers yet to stay at the club," he told reporters following his match-winning double against Southampton on Sunday. "I'm probably more out than in [next summer].
"I've been at the club for many years and there's no club like this but in the end, it isn't in my hands. As I said before, it is December and I've not received anything yet about my future.
"I love the fans and the fans love me but it isn't in my hands so let's wait and see."
Salah, who would be free to discuss a pre-contract agreement with other interested clubs in January, admitted that he is disappointed no approach from the club has been forthcoming.
"Of course yeah [I'm disappointed] because I'm not going to retire soon. I'm just playing, focusing on the season and trying to win the Premier League and hopefully the Champions League too," he added.
"I'm disappointed but we'll see."
