AC Milan are close to full fitness, with some good news having arrived from training regarding the condition of Kyle Walker.
MilanNews have given an update after today’s training session at Milanello in view of Sunday’s trip to face Venezia. With the exception of the long-term absentee Emerson Royal, the head coach Sergio Conceiçao worked with the entire group.
That means that the Portuguese coach has also got Kyle Walker back, who returned to full training today with his teammates after the elbow injury that forced him to undergo surgery in recent weeks.
It appeared that he could be back in the game on Wednesday in the return leg of the Coppa Italia derby against Inter, but the Englishman was not named as part of the matchday squad.
Instead, he will be available again starting from the match scheduled for Sunday at 12:30 CEST against Venezia at the Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo. Whether he starts or is on the bench remains to be seen.
An important season finale awaits for the Englishman, amid the rumours that Milan are weighing up whether to sign him permanently or not. There has even been talk of asking for a discount on the buy-out option.
