Video OneFootball

That's it from us at OneFootball tonight. Thanks to everyone for tuning in this weekend for a bunch of MLS action. We'll see you back on Thursday for more.

Special shoutout to all the homegrown players in world football. What a moment for Jeevan Badwal.

And for all the fans out there, that brings us to the official mid-way point of the MLS season!

A name that might have gone unnoticed earlier, but Santiago Moreno moves to fifth in Portland's all-time goal contribution list (58).

FULL-TIME: Vancouver Whitecaps 3-0 Seattle Sounders | LAFC 3-1 Sporting Kansas City

That's all of the action as the games come to an end.

A massively depleted Whitecaps side beat Seattle 3-0 thanks to the visitors earning two red cards in three minutes.

LAFC then pulled out all the stops to beat Sporting Kansas City 3-1.

And a special nod to Denis Bouanga, who registered two assists and one goal on this Sunday night of soccer.

GOAL! 90+3' - LAFC 3-1 Sporting Kansas City

Frenchman Olivier Giroud comes off the bench, races into the box and adds a third for the hosts. That's some fancy footwork from the World Cup winner.

Bit of confusion inside BC Place. A handful of teenagers were awaiting the chance to make their debut, with commentators told there would be five minutes of injury time.

But the referee opted to blow for the whistle for full-time.

Meanwhile for LAFC, it's a personal night of celebration for Ryan Hollingshead.

GOAL! 88' - Vancouver Whitecaps 3-0 Seattle Sounders (Penalty)

We have a third in Vancouver. João Paulo takes down Emmanuel Afriyie Mario Sabbi in the box and Damir Kreilach steps up to score the subsequent penalty.

We're very surprised both of these games have remained low scoring affairs.

Whitecaps with the two-man advantage only have two goals. LAFC registered 21 shots to one, and also only have two goals. Odd.

Here is a look at that Daniel Rios banger.

We're into the final 15 minutes now in both of our late matches. What has been your favourite moment so far? Let us know in the comments below.

GOAL! 70' - Vancouver Whitecaps 2-0 Seattle Sounders

Well, you could see that coming. The hosts have doubled their lead following two red cards for the visitors. Daniel Rios shrugs off defenders, takes one touch and drills home from range.

The Whitecaps admin is having a bit of fun tonight, it seems.

GOAL! 59' - LAFC 2-1 Sporting Kansas City (Penalty)

We have our second comeback on the cards tonight. This time, our attention is on LAFC as Denis Bouanga's penalty puts the hosts in control.

Throughly deserved after registering 12 shots to Sporting KC's one.

RED CARD: 55' - Jon Bell (Seattle Sounders)

Merely some three minutes later, it's a second red card for the visitors! Jon Bell takes down a 'Caps player as the last man and he's also walking.

Oh now it's really become crazy in BC Place!

Whitecaps crowd really rubbing salt into the wound it seems.

RED CARD: 52' - Nouhou Tolo (Seattle Sounders)

It goes from bad to worse for Seattle. It's an instant red card for Nouhou Tolo after bringing down Mathías Laborda as the last man.

Turning point!

SECOND HALF UNDERWAY - Vancouver Whitecaps 1-0 Seattle Sounders | LAFC 1-1 Sporting Kansas City

Alright, buckle up for the final 45 minutes of Sunday's MLS late show.

HALF-TIME: Vancouver Whitecaps 1-0 Seattle Sounders | LAFC 1-1 Sporting Kansas City

The whistles have blown after the first 45 minutes at BC Place and BMO Stadium. Still plenty to play for in the second half to come.

What have you thought of the games so far? Let us know in the comments below.

All these goals, it's difficult to keep up! Classic MLS.

GOAL! 45+1' - LAFC 1-1 Sporting KC

Well, Kansas City's lead didn't last too long. Eddie Segura was the hero for LAFC after he leapt highest in the box following a corner.

And we've got another! Drum roll please...

GOAL! 40' - Vancouver Whitecaps 1-0 Seattle Sounders

Almost simultaneously, the second late game of the night also delivers the opening goal. It's 19-year-old Jeevan Badwal who was in the middle of the box unmarked and poked home for his first senior goal.

GOAL! 39' - LAFC 0-1 Sporting KC

With their first attempt of the game, the visitors have beaten goalkeeper Hugo Lloris. The opening goal arrives courtesy of Dejan Joveljic for his 10th of the season after some tiki-taka.

It's Pedro de la Vega who had the best attempt so far for Seattle inside BC Place. Still nothing to separate the sides.

A reminder of the Western Conference table: Vancouver (1st), Portland (up to 4th), Seattle (5th), LAFC (6th), Sporting KC (12th) and St. Louis (14th).

Pre-game scenes from Sporting KC.

Over in Vancouver it's the hosts with more attempts on target but Seattle are dictating route of play inside the first 30 minutes.

Looking elsewhere, there have been 191 combined passes between LAFC and Sporting KC, but zero shots at all after 22 minutes.

Some interesting stats from Portland's recent victory.

A reminder for those watching the action at BC Place. The Whitecaps are without numerous first-team players due to illness and international duty.

As a result, they signed seven players from Whitecaps FC 2 to fill tonight's roster.

Livening up the live feed with some shots from the USMNT camp.

FULL-TIME: Portland Timbers 2-1 St. Louis City

It's heartbreak for the visitors but jubilation for the hosts. Antony's goal of the season contender and a late winner from David Ayala are enough for a comeback victory.

KICK OFF! LAFC 0-0 Sporting KC

And the third and final match on Sunday sees LAFC host Sporting KC. Keep an eye out here for all of the action.

KICK OFF! Vancouver Whitecaps 0-0 Seattle Sounders

Elsewhere, the Whitecaps have officially started their match against rivals Seattle Sounders. Who do you have coming out on top? Let us know in the comments below.

Relive the potential match-winning moment from Ayala here.

GOAL! 90+2' - Portland Timbers 2-1 St. Louis City

We spoke too soon! A corner kick after a flurry of wasted chances ends with David Ayala redirecting the ball home at the near post.

It's all Portland in the final showings, will their pressure crack Burki for a second time tonight?

We have less than 10 minutes to go here at Providence Park. It's been tense and choppy.

ANOTHER MASSIVE DOUBLE SAVE!

Now it's Burki's turn to pull out all the stops. The St. Louis City goalkeeper kept things 1-1 with a double save of his own. Talk about standing on your head.

Santiago Moreno and David Da Costa were the players denied.

Now the equaliser has added some confidence into the cleats of Portland. They're pushing for a second, and hopefully all three points at home.

More action to come from out west in a bit.

Perhaps this one will require a late winner tonight?

"Fine, I'll do it myself."

GOAL! 55' - Portland Timbers 1-1 St. Louis City

Oh and now the floodgates have opened. Antony, one of Portland's most creative players today, finishes a lovely solo run and the equaliser curled into the top right corner.

Did we mention Watts used to be a Portland academy player? Some moment.

GOAL! 50' - Portland Timbers 0-1 St. Louis City

At last! It seems David Critchley had a good half-time talk. It's Akil Watts with the opener after controlling the ball from point blank range and stabbing home.

SECOND HALF UNDERWAY: Portland Timbers 0-0 St. Louis

Game on again. Klauss with a great attempt immediately after the restart. But it should have genuinely troubled Portland more. Buckle up.

Who do you have opening the game in Portland? Or will it stay 0-0? Let us know in the comments below.

HALF-TIME: Portland Timbers 0-0 St. Louis

So it's still deadlocked after the first 45 minutes. James Pantemis with the standout performance so far following a clutch double save.

Things have shifted slightly now. Julio Ortiz with an effort cleared and Fory had an effort comfortably saved by goalkeeper Ronan Burki.

Commentators pointing out the Timbers are really struggling here. Only 174 passes after 45 minutes of play. What will Phil Neveille have to say at the break?

A reminder of the two games to come later on: Vancouver Whitecaps vs Seattle Sounders and LAFC vs Sporting KC

We've got a cooling break now after about 30 minutes. Maybe some refreshments will bring extra energy. It's a record high of 95 degrees in Portland today.

Admin being real after that chaos.

HOW DID THAT NOT GO IN?!

James Pantemis, take a bow! St. Louis have swung the game in their favour seeing not one, but three players try to find the net.

Pantemis made multiple saves to deny them. João Klauss will want the chances back for sure.

Limited action in the opening 15, but Jimer Fory narrowly avoided a red card after a big collision with Simon Becher. He earns his seventh yellow of 13 games this season.

KICK OFF IN PORTLAND!

Sunday's first match turns our attention to Providence Park.

The Timbers are looking to make it back-to-back wins with St. Louis hoping to do the same.

A reminder of where every club sits in the table ahead of kickoff: Whitecaps (1), Seattle (4), Portland (5), LAFC (6), Austin (7), St. Louis (14).

Speaking of the international break, don't miss what Houston Dynamo midfielder Jack McGlynn pulled off for the United States Men's National Team. 👀

Despite it being the international break, a handful of MLS matches were pencilled in this week.

Yesterday, Chicago Fire thumped D.C. United 7-1 while Austin FC beat Colorado Rapids 2-0. What will happen tonight? Let us know in the comments below.

Some visuals from the stage in Portland tonight.

GOOD EVENING, ONEFOOTBALLERS!

Major League Soccer continues on Sunday with three matches scheduled.

Portland Timbers kick off the action by hosting St. Louis City, Vancouver Whitecaps welcome Seattle Sounders to town and LAFC face Sporting KC.

Keep up with it all here.
