Milan working to finalize the Jashari agreement with Club Brugge in a deal worth nearly €40m | OneFootball

Ardon Jashari is now very close to becoming a new Milan player, according to reports this evening.

Talks have been going on for many, many weeks, but the breakthrough finally seems to have arrived: Jashari is now on the verge of becoming a Rossonero.

As reported by in Italy by Milannews.it, Daniele Longo, Gianluca Di Marzio and by reporters in Belgium, significant progress was made during the day in the talks between Milan and Club Brugge, which had been frozen for a week.

It is believed that the current offer is €33.5m + €2m of bonuses if Milan make it to the Champions League even once in the next 5 years + €2.5m in more difficult conditions. The structure of the deal is still not entirely clear but Milan’s proposed change in the payment methods is key.

Jashari has been Milan’s top choice for the midfield all summer and he would become the Diavolo’s 3rd addition to this department after Samuele Ricci and of course, Luka Modrić. He has been pushing to join Milan, refusing all other alternatives. He would sign a five-year deal.

The agreement is not yet in place, but the parties have never been closer.
