Milan make contact for Max Allegri | OneFootball

Serie A giants Milan are looking for a new manager and have come forward to appoint Max Allegri as their manager.

Daniele Longo has reported that while Napoli have a basic agreement with the Italian and will go forward with hiring him, if Antonio Conte gets sacked, their path is not clear.

A final confirmation from Antonio Conte has not arrived and it will dictate everything. In the meantime, Milan are making moves. Incoming sporting director Igli Tare wants to hire Allegri and has already made contact to bring the ex-Juventus manager back to the Rossoneri.

Napoli are ahead of Milan in the chase but nothing is decided yet. Plus, Roma have also made contact even though it was quite brief.

Allegri has already rejected clubs from the Middle East and that is why his future is likely to lie in Italy and not abroad. But the situation remains open.
