Milan in direct contact with Hojlund agent while seeking Man United deal | OneFootball

Reports from multiple outlets confirm that Milan are now in direct contact with the agent of Manchester United forward Rasmus Hojlund, who is reportedly opening up to the idea of leaving Old Trafford this summer.

Milan are seeking a new centre-forward to challenge Santiago Gimenez, who is currently the only senior striker available to Massimiliano Allegri in San Siro.

While Juventus’s Dusan Vlahovic has been tipped to reunite with his former Juventus coach in Milan, recent reports indicate that the Rossoneri are pushing ahead with a potential deal for Hojlund instead.

According to reports from transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà (via CaughtOffside), have conducted a thorough probe with Manchester United, and are now due to speak with the player’s agents in an attempt to get the player’s approval. Reports from Sky Sport Italia suggest that that contact has already taken place.

As things stand, Milan do not have an agreement with either Hojlund, nor United.

However, it is understood that United are open to the idea of sending Hojlund out on loan with an option to buy for a fee in the region of €45m all in.

Reports earlier on Wednesday also claimed that Hojlund is beginning to open up to the idea of leaving Manchester United this summer, with the Rossoneri thought to be at the front of the queue to land his signature.
