Protest banners appeared outside the Milan club headquarters following the Coppa Italia Final defeat, while more fan clubs slammed the current owners for ‘incompetence and arrogance.’
The Rossoneri were beaten 1-0 by Bologna at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on Wednesday evening and with it lost their best chance of qualifying for the Europa League.
Away fans have been barred from tonight’s Serie A match against Roma in the same stadium, but the ultras had announced they were boycotting the game anyway in protest at their dismal campaign.

This afternoon, two insulting banners appeared outside the club headquarters in via Aldo Rossi, before they were taken down by police.
‘Maldini – Identity and #ElliotOut’ was one, while the other read: ‘We are Milan! Cast out the merchants from the temple!’

Meanwhile, another of the ultras clubs released a formal statement, this time the Old Clan Milan Club.
“Presumption, incompetence, arrogance,” it read.
“These three words can sum up the problems of the Milan directors. Presumption that a financial businessman thinks he can invent football figures, a good scout who thinks he can be a director of sport (like a sommelier who wants to be a Michelin-star chef), and an ex-champion wannabe God who thinks speechifying is the best way of communicating.
“Incompetence when they manage to get every technical decision wrong. Arrogance, that is the worst part, when they do not even take into consideration the suggestions from various sides, taking the exact opposite direction and creating a total detachment between the fans and a club, the likes of which we have never seen in the history of Milan.
“Now every bonus has been gambled away and the total failure of the entire club (including the shocking flop of the Milan Futuro caused by Ibrahimovic, his personal vendettas and insane decisions) show there are no solutions to be found in the current directors.
“We fans are no longer prepared to support this wreck and so we will open up total warfare. The signs are worrying (the usual silence, whispers over important player sales)…
“Go ahead, but not in our name!!!!”
