Olympique de Marseille travel to face bitter rivals Olympique Lyonnais in what will be a hotly contested game this evening. Roberto De Zerbi’s squad have the chance to draw level on points with Paris Saint-Germain but would need to win by six goals to claim first place.
De Zerbi can call upon Leonardo Balerdi once again with L’Équipe suggesting that the centre-back will fill in at right-back rather than his usual place in defence. Geoffrey Kondogbia is expected to drop into a centre-back role to cover for the suspended Derek Cornelius.
This will give Ismaël Koné the chance to make his full debut for Marseille after he came off the bench last weekend during the club’s victory over OGC Nice in The Derby de la Mediterranée. On the left-hand side of the defence, Quentin Merlin’s absence will be covered by Michael Amir Murillo.
