Marseille look to offload Jonathan Rowe | OneFootball

Jonathan Rowe (21) only made the move to Olympique de Marseille from formative club Norwich City back in the summer, however, the Englishman’s time at the Vélodrome could already be up, according to a report from L’Équipe.

Rowe started life brightly at Marseille, proving a valuable option off the bench in particular. However, since coming off at half-time after the 3-1 defeat to AJ Auxerre at the start of November, he has seen his game time decrease significantly and he has been a victim of the change in system.

He has not started a Ligue 1 game since and, as per L’Équipe, Rowe has lost credit in the eyes of manager Roberto De Zerbi. Les Phocéens are now sounding out the market in order to find a new destination for the former Norwich winger, who has been demoted further down the pecking order in the wake of Amine Gouiri’s arrival.
