Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford is still searching for a new club.
The 27 year old spent last season on loan at Aston Villa and has accepted that he has no future at the club under current boss Ruben Amorim.
The England international is currently training alone and has rejected offers from Saudi Arabia and other countries to focus on a move to FC Barcelona.
The Carrington product has given total priority to a move to Barcelona this summer and has even started following certain Barca players on social media in a public demonstration of his desire.
It has also been reported that with the Catalans missing out on Nico Williams and Luis Diaz that they would make a push for Rashford in the coming days.
What’s more, it has been suggested that United would even be prepared to accept a loan deal to grease the wheels of a move.
There were reports yesterday that not everybody was happy at board level at the Camp Nou over a move for Rashford and Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano claims that there has been no decision on who they will pursue this summer.
Romano states that “I am still told Barcelona as of Sunday have still not decided what they want to do with the winger.”
He added that “Rashford is an option, he wants to go to Barca but Man United have not received any bid or any official contact from Barca.”
Romano also stated that “it’s not about a loan or permanent deal. No club to club talks yet as it’s all about Barça’s internal decision on which winger they want.”
Whilst it is still early in the window, it is safe to say that this has not been a dream window for Man United fans.
The club are struggling to sell players and Romano’s update has shown that there is likely plenty of time left before Barcelona move on Rashford, if they even do at all.
