Manchester United are interested in Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin but clubs differ on valuation, as per reports.

United are working very hard to transform their attack, having already signed Matheus Cunha from Wolves. They are reportedly also set to make a bid worth more than £63 million to sign Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford.

However, the club’s financial predicament, especially after their failure to qualify for European football, is well-documented and it might impact their plans to strengthen other areas of Ruben Amorim’s team.

Andre Onana endured a torrid season between the sticks for the Red Devils, and United would ideally like to replace the Cameroon international with a new number one. However, they are not in the position to splash a considerable fee.

In recent days Onana has attracted interest from Ligue 1 giants AS Monaco.

According to DefensaCentral, United are looking for a new goalkeeper and their favourite option is Emi Martinez. However, Saudi Arabia also wants to sign the Aston Villa star and could pay triple the amount he would receive at Old Trafford.

Next on United’s list, as per the Spanish outlet, is Lunin, who has impressed at Santiago Bernabeu with his strong presence and character.

The 26-year-old is considering leaving Real as he is behind Thibaut Courtois in the pecking order.

It is claimed United approached his agent Jorge Mendes to enquire about his situation.

The Red Devils have supposedly informed the agent that they are ready to pay around €15 million for the Ukrainian.

However, Los Blancos are thought to be demanding a fee between €20m and €25m for their second-choice shot-stopper. At this point, the Premier League side have no desire to meet Real’s asking price.

Apart from United, AC Milan have also shown interest in the Real star amid concerns over Mike Maignan’s future.
