Rúben Amorim’s decision to leave Alejandro Garnacho out of last month’s Manchester derby has fueled speculation about the winger’s future at Manchester United.

The Daily Mail reported that Garnacho is no longer considered “untouchable” at Manchester United, attracting interest from major European clubs like Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan, Real Madrid, and Barcelona.

Although a move doesn’t appear imminent, United might consider offers starting around £70 million. However, clubs such as Atletico Madrid and Juventus could find it difficult to meet that valuation at this stage.

Journalist Steve Kay has noted that Tottenham recently made a serious inquiry about Garnacho’s availability. Additionally, CaughtOffside claimed that Atletico Madrid, the player’s former club, along with PSG and Juventus, are keeping a close watch on his situation.

While United could entertain the idea of a sale for the right price, Atletico and Juventus may face hurdles in meeting the club’s demands.

Napoli have already had a £40 million offer for Garnacho turned down this month, but according to Italian outlet Tuttosport, they’ve now made a second, improved bid.

The report states that Antonio Conte’s side has offered €55 million (£46.5m / $56.7m) for the Manchester United star. Garnacho is said to have agreed to personal terms with Napoli for a five-year contract worth €3 million (£2.5m / $3.1m) per year.

Despite this, Manchester United are reportedly holding firm on their £60 million asking price and won’t let him leave for anything less this month.

Napoli have the financial means to meet that asking price after the sale of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, but it remains to be seen if they will go that high. Other clubs, including Chelsea, are also said to be monitoring the situation.
