Man United preparing €70 million bid for Barcelona star | OneFootball

Premier League giants Manchester United are readying a big-money proposal for a member of the midfield ranks at Barcelona.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Fermín López as the player in question.

The name of midfielder Fermín has of course proven an altogether prominent one in the media chatter surrounding Barcelona across the summer to date.

This comes amid the understanding that the 22-year-old has been earmarked as a leading transfer target by a whole host of clubs.

The likes of Chelsea and Bayern Munich have been credited with a keen interest in his signature, with some outlets having suggested that, for the right price, Barca would be open to sanctioning a sale.

And as alluded to above, this weekend, another of the game’s most recognisable clubs, too, have been tipped to launch on assault on Fermín’s signature.

As per a report from Sport:

‘Manchester United have been directly interested in the signing of Fermín and would be in a position to present an economic proposal of more than 70 million euros.’

For such a figure, the Camp Nou brass would be expected to quickly sanction a transfer.
