Manchester United loanees Jadon Sancho and Antony both helped their current sides take a giant leap towards qualification for the semi-finals of the Conference League.

Sancho broke his goal and assist drought by setting up two goals in Chelsea’s 3-0 away win against Legia Warszawa.

His first assist arrived in the 57th minute to double Chelsea’s lead.

The 25 year old ran at the Polish defence and squared the ball to Noni Madueke, who tucked it away in the bottom corner.

In the 74th minute, Sancho once again took on a tiring home defence and expertly flashed the ball across goal where a grateful Madueke was on hand to guide in his second and Chelsea’s third of the match.

The United winger completed 96% of his passes and made five key ones in the match. The night was almost perfect for him as he had a shot on target that could have also ended his goal drought, as he is yet to score in 2025.

He was still rather ineffective from a defensive viewpoint as he only won two out of his nine ground duel attempts.

Antony also impressed as Real Betis took control of their quarter-final, beating Jagiellonia Białystok 2-0 in Spain.

He had 82 touches of the ball, making 89% of his passing attempts. He had two key passes and created one big chance on the night.

The Brazilian proved a constant threat as he completed all three of his dribble attempts as he helped take the game to the Poles.

The United winger showed his great desire to work hard by winning six out of his 10 ground duels as his team took an iron grip over the quarter final.

Sancho will next be in action when Chelsea host Ipswich Town at home on Sunday and Antony will welcome Villarreal to the Estadio Benito Villamarín in a crucial match for Champions League qualification.
