Liverpool enjoyed an impressive 2-0 win away at Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, opening up an 11-point Premier League in the process.

Mohamed Salah and Dominik Szoboszlai both scored in the first half to complete a league double for the season over a City side in rapid decline.

It was a polished and perfectly executed performance from Arne Slot's Liverpool, doing something Arsenal couldn't in either of the last two campaigns, with the Gunners unable to win at the Eithad Stadium in the final few months of both 2022/23 and 2023/24.

Pep Guardiola's City are limping towards the end of the season. They are a full 20 points off the pace and the biggest battle now is to ensure that they still qualify for the Champions League.
