There apparently could be some concerns from Chelsea’s side on one transfer target they have had since January, per The Mail.

It’s not exactly blown up with big Chelsea transfer news but this is probably because at the moment the club have been concentrating on playing in the Club World Cup.

I’m fully convinced Chelsea will go for a goalkeeper still this window but it is something that will happen later on in the window. And despite the Mike Maignan thing consistently being played down now, I can still see Chelsea going back for him – as is actually reported in the story above!

There is also a situation bubbling up with Andrey Santos, who will be disappointed not to have played yet for Chelsea in the Club World Cup and will surely be weighing up his own future right now. The Santos noise is soon going to start increasing.

Last night, it really kicked off on social media after rumours came out that Chelsea are considering a swap deal with Manchester United that would see Christopher Nkunku go to Old Trafford, and Alejandro Garnacho go the other way.

It’s safe to say that the young winger is not the most popular transfer target on the Chelsea shortlist!

What Mail Online say

Mail Online report Chelsea are considering a move for Garnacho and United are looking at a potential move for Nkunku.

However, Nkunku is not seen as a priority for United currently but rather an option.

They also say Garnacho has been on Chelsea’s winger shortlist since January.

But there are concerns, thankfully.

The report says there could be concerns over Garnacho’s character, given his history of United fallouts.
