Lyon’s Corentin Tolisso emerges at latest Neom SC target | OneFootball

A link is seemingly being forged between Olympique Lyonnais and newly promoted Saudi Pro League side Neom SC.

The club signed winger Saïd Benrahma on loan in January, before making the move permanent this summer. Alexandre Lacazette, whose Lyon contract expires at the end of this month, is on the verge of signing for Neom on a free transfer, and, as reported by L’Équipe, goalkeeper Lucas Perri may follow, although there is competition for his signature.

As per L’Équipe, another target has emerged – Corentin Tolisso (30). The academy product is set to be named captain, given Lacazette’s confirmed departure from the club, and Lyon, currently in the process of appealing their relegation to Ligue 2, want to build around the midfielder.

However, Neom, who would have to pay around €10m to acquire his services, have the means to convince Tolisso. Those means are financial but also extend to the presence of his close friend, Lacazette, in the squad.
