Manchester United have received a significant boost in their efforts to reunite Viktor Gyökeres with Ruben Amorim as a new report reveals the stance of PSG for the Swedish standout.
The Swedish forward wants to settle his future quickly, but interested clubs are slow to act, even with his release clause within reach.
Manchester United could capitalize on that hesitation and are expected to step up their pursuit of Gyökeres after facing Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Europa League final.
Despite Gyökeres having impressive numbers with Sporting Lisbon, one club that has ruled out pursuing him is PSG.

According to L’Équipe, Manchester United are the only major European club to have taken concrete steps toward signing the Sporting striker. PSG, meanwhile, are reportedly out of the running.
The Champions League finalists were linked with the center-forward back in January, but Luis Enrique isn’t looking to bring in a No. 9 this summer, especially not at the price currently being discussed.
Gyökeres is coming off a 2024-25 season in which he scored 53 goals and recorded 13 assists in 51 appearances across all competitions for the Portuguese club. It will be interesting to see if the Premier League side land the player or if another side secures him.
